Your property stops looking tired. The green streaks on your north-facing siding are gone. The black algae stains on your roof disappear. Your driveway doesn’t have that chalky white salt residue anymore.
You’re not wondering if the job was done correctly or if something got damaged in the process. The surfaces are clean, and they stay clean longer because the cleaning method matched what your property actually needed.
You didn’t waste a weekend trying to do it yourself with a rented machine that either didn’t have enough power or had too much. You didn’t strip the finish off your deck or drive water behind your siding. You got it done once, properly, and you can move on with your life.
We’ve been handling pressure washing and exterior cleaning in Townsend and the surrounding Massachusetts communities since 2014. We’re a family-owned business, and we’ve seen what winter salt does to driveways, what humid summers do to siding, and what happens when someone uses too much pressure on the wrong surface.
We use eco-friendly products because we work on homes where kids and pets spend time outside. We’re bonded and insured because that’s what you should expect from anyone working on your property.
The people who call us back year after year do so because we don’t miss things. We show up when we say we will, we clean what needs cleaning, and we don’t create new problems while solving old ones.
You call or contact us for a free estimate. We come out, look at what needs cleaning, and tell you what we’d do and what it costs. No surprises later.
Once you’re ready to schedule, we set a time that works for you. We send a reminder 24 hours before so you’re not caught off guard.
When we arrive, we assess the surfaces we’re cleaning. Concrete driveways get treated differently than wood decks. Vinyl siding needs a different approach than painted wood. Soft washing works for roofs and delicate surfaces where high pressure would cause damage. Power washing handles tough concrete and heavily soiled areas.
We pre-treat stains when needed—salt deposits, algae, mildew. Then we clean using the right pressure and technique for each surface. We rinse thoroughly so nothing’s left behind that could attract dirt or damage your landscaping.
Before we leave, we do a walkthrough. You see what’s been done. If something needs a second pass, we handle it then.

Driveways and walkways take the worst beating in Massachusetts winters. Road salt, sand, and freeze-thaw cycles leave stains and surface damage. We remove the buildup without scarring the concrete or stripping sealant.
Decks and fences need gentler treatment. Wood can splinter and scar under too much pressure. We use soft washing and appropriate techniques to remove mildew, algae, and weathering without damaging the grain or forcing water into places it shouldn’t go.
Siding—whether it’s vinyl, wood, or fiber cement—collects algae on shaded sides and salt spray if you’re anywhere near the coast. We clean it without driving water behind the laps or stripping paint.
Roofs develop black streaks from algae that feed on the limestone in shingles. It’s not just cosmetic—it holds moisture and speeds up deterioration. We use low-pressure soft washing to remove it safely.
We also handle graffiti removal, patio cleaning, and other exterior surfaces. If it’s outside and it’s dirty, we’ve probably cleaned it before.
Pressure washing uses high-pressure water to blast away dirt, grime, and stains. It works well on concrete, brick, and other hard surfaces that can handle the force. Soft washing uses low pressure combined with cleaning solutions to break down organic growth like algae, mildew, and mold. It’s what you use on roofs, siding, wood decks, and anything that could be damaged by high pressure.
The mistake most people make is using high pressure on everything. That’s how you end up with stripped paint, splintered wood, or water driven behind your siding. We match the method to the surface. Your driveway gets pressure washed. Your roof gets soft washed. Your deck gets treated based on its condition and material.
If you’ve seen those videos of someone blasting their deck with a pressure washer and leaving deep grooves in the wood, that’s what happens when you use the wrong approach. We’ve been doing this long enough to know which surfaces need which method.
It depends on what you’re cleaning and how big the area is. A standard driveway usually runs between $150 and $300. A full house wash can range from $300 to $600 depending on size and how much buildup there is. Deck cleaning varies based on square footage and condition—anywhere from $200 to $500 for most residential decks.
We give free estimates, so you know the exact cost before we start. We don’t charge extra for pre-treating stains or doing a second pass if something needs it. The price we quote is the price you pay.
The reason costs vary is because not every job is the same. A driveway covered in oil stains takes more time and product than one that just needs surface dirt removed. A north-facing wall covered in algae requires different treatment than a south-facing wall that’s mostly just dusty. We price based on what the job actually requires, not a one-size-fits-all rate that either overcharges simple jobs or underestimates difficult ones.
It can if it’s done wrong. Too much pressure, the wrong nozzle angle, or holding the spray too close will absolutely damage wood, strip paint, and drive water into places it shouldn’t go. That’s why we adjust our approach based on what we’re cleaning.
Wood decks get soft washed or cleaned with lower pressure and the right technique. We don’t use the same setting we’d use on a concrete driveway. Siding gets cleaned with a method that removes dirt and organic growth without forcing water behind the panels or stripping the finish.
We’ve seen plenty of DIY jobs where someone rented a pressure washer, cranked it to full power, and created more problems than they solved. Splintered deck boards. Stripped paint. Water damage inside walls. It’s always more expensive to fix that damage than it would have been to hire someone who knows what they’re doing in the first place. We’ve been doing this for over ten years, and we’ve never had to explain to a customer why their siding is now leaking or their deck looks worse than before.
Spring and fall are the busiest times, and for good reason. Spring cleaning removes all the salt, sand, and grime that built up over winter. It’s also when you’ll notice algae and mildew starting to grow as temperatures warm up and everything stays damp longer. Fall cleaning clears away pollen, summer growth, and organic debris before winter sets in.
That said, we work year-round as long as temperatures are above freezing. If you’re planning to paint or stain your deck, you need to pressure wash first—and that needs to happen when the wood has time to dry before you apply anything. If you’re selling your home, curb appeal matters immediately, not next season.
The worst time to call is when everyone else is calling. If you wait until the first warm weekend in April, you’re competing with every other homeowner who just noticed their driveway looks terrible. Book early if you want your preferred date. We’re flexible with scheduling, but we can’t add hours to the day when we’re already booked solid.
We use eco-friendly, non-toxic cleaning solutions that are safe for kids, pets, and landscaping. The products we use break down organic growth like algae and mildew without leaving behind harsh residues. We’re not spraying bleach or industrial solvents on your property.
Before we start, we wet down any plants or grass near the work area. After we’re done, we rinse thoroughly so nothing’s left on surfaces or in your landscaping. We’ve cleaned properties where dogs are outside within an hour of us finishing, and we’ve never had an issue.
The reason we use these products is because they work without creating new problems. Harsh chemicals can kill grass, discolor siding, and leave residues that are unsafe for anyone spending time outside. We’re a family-owned business, and we treat your property the same way we’d treat our own. That means using products that clean effectively without putting your family or pets at risk.
Most of the time, yes. Oil stains are stubborn because the oil soaks into porous concrete, but we use degreasers and pre-treatment solutions that break down the oil before we pressure wash. Fresh stains come up easier than old ones that have been sitting for months or years, but we’ve had success with both.
Complete removal depends on how deep the oil penetrated and how long it’s been there. Some older stains will lighten significantly but might not disappear entirely. We’ll tell you upfront what’s realistic based on what we’re looking at.
The key is treating the stain before blasting it with water. Just spraying high-pressure water at an oil stain doesn’t do much—you’re just spreading it around. We apply a degreaser, let it sit and break down the oil, then pressure wash it away. If it needs a second treatment, we do that before we leave. Most driveways look dramatically better even if a faint shadow of an old stain remains.
